Cancellation Penalties
Deposit is refundable without penalty up to October 28, 2026 (less 3% credit card transaction fee)
After October 28th to December 1 - $200 penalty fee and transaction fee
October 28th, is the last date that you may leave your selection of a roommate as TBD, if applicable. You may choose to purchase the single supplement at this time.

In the event a member needs to cancel a trip they have paid for:
The member is responsible for finding a replacement member for their booking who is acceptable to their roommate, where applicable. The club will work with the member to find someone to replace them; however, the ultimate responsibility falls to the member cancelling, NOT to the Trip Coordinator. The member will NOT receive their full payment back and the final refund will depend on finding another member or members to utilize the booking less any fees and penalties associated with the cancellation (e.g., airline, hotel change fees – approximately $200 and/or credit card transaction fees), AND assuming the airline will allow the change. A single supplement charge may be applied if the roommate remains single for the trip. All refunds to a member for a trip cancellation after the Cancellation Date must be approved by the Long Beach Ski Club’s Board AFTER the trip, based on the financial impact on the club.
Consider privately purchasing “Trip Interruption Insurance” that may cover your cancellation expenses.
