Fly to Europe and meet up in Peschiera del Garda, Italy on May 24th. Enjoy daily bike trips around and near Lake Garda using analog or e-bikes rented from Rad Reisen. Explore ancient castles, historic villages, amusement parks and local vineyards. Enjoy gorgeous lake views while dining on regional specialties including tortelini and Lugana white wine. In the evening, gather with the group for dining, wine tasting and exploring.



How to join in:

1. Read the details on the website HERE. You are paying your own way and the ski club is NOT handling any money on this trip - so please be familiar with the cancellation policy and what is included. The VP of Social will be organizing optional events for the group nearer to the trip date.
2. Book the tour for the trip starting on May 24, 2026 using the link below. Notice that this is the latest date for the cheaper price. If you book by Feb. 28th, there is an automatic 3% discount. The price is around 700 euros per person BUT you will qualify for additional discounts IF you add a note on your registration that you are joining the Long Beach Ski Club group.
3. Book your flights. Probably the cheapest and easiest way to get to Peschiera del Garda is through Milan. While there are not any non-stops from LAX, the layovers are short and you arrive in Milan in under 15 hours after you leave. The current prices on Finnair/British Air are under $800. If you prefer to fly non-stop into Europe and spend time before or after your bike tour - there are numerous points of entry that would work including non-stop to Rome or London at similar prices.
4. E-mail the VP of Social  HERE and share your itinerary. She will provide you with links to trains, buses and other ways to arrive at the hotel in Peschiera del Garda. In addition, she will work on increasing the discount offered by Rad Reisen.
5. Receive a list of other attendees to coordinate travel to the airport, meet-ups in Europe and more about a month ahead of departure.
